ATI-USM, Kabacan, Cotabato — From November 11–13, 2025, rubber farmers from SURDECO (Maguindanao del Sur) and Moro Gulf Sterling Product Development Cooperative (Maguindanao del Norte) attended the CapDev Program on Improved Technology in Rubber Production. Lectures were conducted during the first two days, complemented by hands-on field demonstrations to give farmers practical experience.
On the final day, ED Cheryl L. Eusala visited the venue and delivered a lecture on the Philippine rubber industry. Present also were the Division Chiefs of GRID, Dr. Joy Flores and Dr. Glenn Ilar of RTESD. Some participants expressed interest in next year’s more intensive TOT program for deeper skill development.
The program strengthened technical knowledge, fostered collaboration with OPAg Maguindanao, and empowered farmers for sustainable growth. Special thanks to Engr. Jehdani Ulangkaya and the Maguindanao team for their collaborative support. Shukran!
