Qualification

  • Education: Master’s Degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management From CSC
  • Training: 40 hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention
  • Experience: 4 years in position/s involving management and supervision
  • Eligibility: Career Service(professional) Second Level Eligibility

Preferred Qualifications/Attributes

  • Doctorate degree in any science, engineering, management courses;

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Principally responsible for the effective and efficient function of the Division/Pvvrogram through proper management and supervision;
  • Direct and oversee advanced research initiatives focused on the development and enhancement of rubber materials and products, ensuring alignment with industry’s best practices.
  • Oversee Collaboration among agronomists, engineers, and production teams to implement research findings in rubber cultivation and processing.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities for research initiatives, including the preparation of grant proposals
  • Develop and track key performance indicators related to research outputs and project milestones, preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders and funding agencies.
  • Engage and Supervise Knowledge Transfer by working with local rubber farmers and industry representatives to disseminate research findings and promote best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
