In a collaborative effort, PRRI partnered with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region X, the Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) of Clarin, and the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Penacio to organize a Capacity Development training program (i.e., latex harvesting, tapping techniques) for rubber farmers in Barangay Penacio, Clarin, Misamis Occidental held April 3-4, 2024. As a result, 25 Subanen rubber farmers benefited over the course of this two-day program.
