The Philippine Rubber Research Institute (PRRI) recently hosted a productive learning visit for project beneficiaries, staff, and representatives from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lamitan City, with a total of 22 participants in attendance. The visit, lasting 2 to 3 hours, was aimed at fostering knowledge exchange and enhancing collaboration in agricultural initiatives.

Sir Meynard Abello, the Supervising Science Research Specialist at PRRI, led the orientation session, providing attendees with valuable insights and updates about the instituteโ€™s ongoing projects and research endeavors. This visit was part of the project, โ€œStrengthening Agri-Fishery Enterprises through Women and Youth Economic Empowerment, Inclusive Business, and Climate Resilience, which is a collaborative effort between KMFI and OXFAM, supported by the European Unionโ€™s Bangsamoro AgriEnterprise (EU-BAEP).

The engagement aimed to strengthen the relationship between PRRI and local stakeholders, equipping them with knowledge and resources to enhance agricultural practices in the region. PRRI looks forward to continued collaboration and support for the development of sustainable agricultural initiatives in the Bangsamoro region.
