The focus of the meeting was to discuss crucial agricultural programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, ensuring food safety, and building resilience in the face of climate challenges. Presentations covered topics such as strengthening value chains and farmer income, ensuring food safety with certification, improving data collection, and building resilience against climate change.
Mr. Julius Biolango, Training Specialist II from PRRI, actively participated in the event as the designated Information Officer under the ICT Unit. The attendees also received a 10-day weather forecast and were encouraged to disseminate it through their social media platforms and communication channels. The meeting also addressed essential aspects of data privacy, consent protocols, and information sharing agreements.
