Dr. Eusala’s narrative begins in Makilala, North Cotabato, where she was raised as the daughter of a rubber farmer. Her formative years were immersed in the challenges faced by farming communities, forging a deep connection to agricultural life and inspiring her future endeavors.

Dr. Eusala pursued a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Plant Breeding and Genetics, with a minor in Horticulture at the University of Southern Mindanao (USM). Graduating with honors, she not only carried academic achievements but also a fervent commitment to making a meaningful impact in the rubber community..
Continuing her academic journey, Dr. Eusala earned a Master of Science in Rural and Economic Development, coupled with a minor in Public Administration. This academic phase equipped her with a holistic understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized farmers, sparking her passion for strategic planning and policy interventions.
Undaunted by challenges, Dr. Eusala pursued a Ph.D. in Community Development, specializing in Strategic Planning and Policy Studies at the University of the Philippines. Her research focused on innovative approaches to address poverty-induced issues through agriculture, marking a pivotal moment in her academic journey

Dr. Eusala’s dedication and expertise manifested in her leadership roles, beginning as the director of the Center for Tropical Mushroom Research and Development (CTMRD) in 2002. Over the years, she ascended the administrative ladder, serving as the chair of the Department of Biological Sciences in 2012, and eventually becoming the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. In January 2023, she was designated as the Vice President for Administration, showcasing her versatility in academic and administrative spheres.
