|| PRRI collaborates with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region IX to conduct a Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) User’s Training for all PRRI personnel.
During her opening address, PRRI Executive Director, Dr. Cheryl L. Eusala (Charming Edcle) highlighted the importance of PNPKI in today’s digital age. She furthered that this training is crucial for all PRRI since we are living in a technologically advanced world. Also, she expressed her gratitude for DICT’s partnership in facilitating this event.
Engr. Kristine Lorraine G. Ariston explained the basics of cybersecurity. Before that, she did a short recap on what the PNPKI system is all about, its legal foundation, and the principles of cryptography. The training involved various types of digital certificates in order to establish trust and security in online transactions. The installation of digital certificates on laptops marked the final step of the event.
With this partnership, PRRI hopes to ensure the digital security of all essential office documents and personnel records.
