Bangkok, Thailand August 27-29, 2024 || Dr. Girlie Saludo represented Director Eusala in the online 5th meeting of the Working Group on Sustainable Natural Rubber (WGSNR) from August 27-29 in Bangkok, Thailand.
This three-day event was held at The Quarter Hotel Ari by UHG in Bangkok, Thailand. It has brought together onsite and online participants to discuss the latest advancements and strategies for promoting sustainable practices in the natural rubber industry.
As an online participant, Dr. Saludo contributed her knowledge and insights about rubber during the discussions. Her focus is mainly on ways to improve environmental and social responsibility throughout the natural rubber value chain.
The WGSNR is a multi-stakeholder initiative that includes representatives from natural rubber producers, processors, manufacturers, and non-governmental organizations. The group aims to develop and promote best practices for sustainable natural rubber production, processing, and trade.
