Sharing the Philippine Rubber Story with the World!
We’re proud to share that the Philippine Rubber Research Institute (PRRI) represented by Engr. Evangeline P. Garcia was invited as a Resource Person during the 2nd International Farm Youth Exchange (IFYE) Program National Conference held in RDEC, ATI, Diliman, Quezon City last July 23, 2025— to speak on a topic that’s close to our mission and our hearts:
“The Philippine Rubber Industry: Landscape, Challenges, and Opportunities”
Through this opportunity, PRRI was able to highlight the real story of rubber in the Philippines — from its current state and pressing challenges, to the vast potential waiting to be unlocked through innovation, policy support, and youth participation.
We believe that rubber is not just a crop — it’s a lifeline for many rural communities. And with the right investments and partnerships, it can become a stronger pillar for inclusive and sustainable growth.
