ZAMBOANGA CITY — PRRI representatives Mr. Meynard P. Abello, Engr. Evangeline P. Garcia, and Ms. Xela Patrice B. Pingol showcased the innovative EcoTap technology during the ZAMBASULTA Business and Innovation Summit 2024, themed “Unleashing New Innovations and Transforming Enterprises (UNITE) for Sustainable Growth.” The event took place at the Marcian Garden Hotel, bringing together diverse stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and startups.
A highlight of the summit was the technology pitching session, where Mr. Abello effectively communicated the benefits and potential of EcoTap to a panel of experts and potential investors. PRRI also engaged in workshops and discussions with representatives from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Department of Tourism (DOT), the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Department of Agriculture (DA), and successful startup owners.
The event was organized by DOST-9 in collaboration with the HERMOSA Consortium and several DOST-assisted Technology Business Incubators (TBI), including AZUL Hub of AdZU, Agri-Aqua TBI of WMSU, and SIDLAK TBI of JRMSU.
