In a gesture of generosity and support of DOST-PCAARRD to DA-PRRI’s management and leadership, DA-PRRI Executive Director (ED), Dr. Cheryl Lazaga Eusala has finally signed the deed of car donation at the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development’s (DOST-PCAARRD) office on June 23, 2023. The act demonstrated Director Eusala’s commitment to fostering collaboration and advancing agricultural research and development in the country.
During the signing ceremony, Director Eusala expressed her gratitude towards the DOST-PCAARRD for their invaluable contributions to agricultural research and development. She emphasized the significance of supporting scientific endeavors that enhance the productivity, competitiveness, and resilience of the agricultural sector.
In response, the officials from DOST-PCAARRD expressed their appreciation for Director Eusala’s unwavering commitment and collaborative effort to the advancement of agriculture in the Philippines. They acknowledged the pivotal role that DA-PRRI plays in promoting research and innovation, and how this donation further strengthens their partnership.
Following the turnover ceremony scheduled on June 30, 2023, the donated Toyota Revo car will be shipped to Ipil, further amplifying the research activities of DA-PRRI. This significant addition will play a pivotal role in advancing the institute’s goals of enhancing productivity and sustainability within the Philippine rubber industry. With its arrival, DA-PRRI will harness the car’s capabilities to drive forward its research endeavors, empowering them to make substantial contributions towards the development and success of the country’s rubber sector.
