November 4, 2024 — Continuing from the previous story, the PRRI Executive Director, Dr. Cheryl Lazaga Eusala recently conducted a visit to the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) to meet with Dr. Debbie Marie Versoza, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension (VPRDE) for scheduled activities. The agenda included ocular inspection of USM area, focused discussions on enhancing Rubber Testing capabilities, and an insightful field visit to the Aroman nursery.
PRRI actively engages to foster collaboration in the rubber industry, paving the way for more innovative research and development initiatives. This partnership with USM promises to strengthen the impact of rubber industry advancements in the region towards “GOMAgaang Buhay”!

PRRI Executive Director, Dr. Cheryl Lazaga Eusala (Charming Cle) recently met with Mr. Joel V. De Guzman, General Manager of COTELCO, Inc., at their office in Manubuan, Matalam, Cotabato to discuss the urgent need for electrification of PRRI-Aroman Rubber Nursery yesterday, October 29, 2024. Manager De Guzman responded positively to the request, expressing a commitment to fast-track the electrification process.
This productive meeting is expected to enhance the operational efficiency and productivity of the PRRI-Aroman Rubber Nursery. PRRI extends its gratitude to Manager De Guzman for his wonderful gesture of support.

EDCLE conducts site visit in Aroman Rubber Nursery

October 21, 2024 | Carmen, Cotabato Province

PRRI Executive Director, Dr. Cheryl Lazaga Eusala (EDCLE), conducted a site visit to the PRRI Rubber Nursery to provide proper nursery guidance and personally oversee the farmworkers on the implementation of improved technology in preparation for the upcoming Regional Committee Meeting today – October 22, 2024.

EDCLE aims to showcase the products of this improved technology as the flagship program of PRRI under her leadership to the attending regional directors. During the visit, she also held a meeting with DA-ARES Center Chief Mr. Bing Sultan and Agricultural Program Coordinating Officer Mr. Rey Domingo to discuss the possibility of securing an additional area for the budwood garden, as well as her intention to build a multi-purpose building to facilitate future meetings, training, and other activities.

Director Eusala’s dream of achieving “Goma-gaang Buhay” for the entire rubber farming community is slowly coming to fruition. The seeds of this vision are being sown day by day, and soon they will sprout in ways we may not even anticipate.

October 21, 2024 || PRRI Executive Director, Dr. Cheryl Lazaga Eusala (EDCLE) attended a flag-raising ceremony in PRRI Aroman Experimental Station, Cotabato Province, recognized as the center for nursery propagation. During her address, Director Eusala emphasized the importance of PRRI Aroman Staff learning the Improved Technology in Rubber Production to be able to properly amplify this vital information to all stakeholders.
EDCLE commended all the hardworking staff for their strong work practices, unity, and dedication to service. Kudos to the PRRI-Aroman Team! All the best towards GOMA-gaang Buhay!

#ICYMI – October 17, 2024 || PRRI Executive Director, Dr. Cheryl Lazaga Eusala recently conducted a site visit to oversee the ongoing land preparation for the upcoming establishment of PRRI Rubber Nursery and Budwood Garden. This nursery will utilize the Improved Technology in Rubber Production, which is the flagship program of PRRI, inspired by the Aroman model, located in IZRES (formerly WESMIARC), Sanito Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
