DA-PRRI officially launched the Philippine Rubber Research Institute Satellite Station in the Department of Agriculture- Aroman Research Experimental Station. (DA-ARES), Aroman, Carmen, North Cotabato. Being the research arm of the Department of Agriculture for rubber, PRRI continues to strengthen its effort in advocating research programs and pooling resources that will serve as vital tools for the development and improvement of the agricultural rubber enterprises anchored with appropriate technology transfer, promotion, utilization and commercialization strategies meeting the demands for quality rubber in both domestic and international trade.
The launching was made possible through the partnership of the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office XII (DA-RFO XII) and through the efforts of SOCSKSARGEN Area Development Project Office (ADPO), LGU Carmen, DA- ARES, and Provincial Government of North Cotabato.
Also in attendance during the launching were the SOXAARRDEC, University of Southern Mindanao (USM), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA – XII), DOST-PCAARRD, Area Development Project Office (ADPO), Agricultural Training Institute (ATI-XII), LGU Carmen, DA- ARES, and DA-PRRI Personnel with the leadership of OIC- Executive Director Engr. ROGER O. BAGAFORO.
On the other hand, the Muslim, Lumad, Christian Marketing Cooperative (MULCHMARCO), one of the beneficiaries of the Capability Development Program training of PRRI for Rubber Farmers Association and Cooperatives held on March 1-3, 2022, received their certificates of completion during the event.
