Executive Director Cheryl L. Eusala was recently invited to be the guest speaker at the Farmers’ Day 2024 celebration in Makilala, North Cotabato last September 06, 2024. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, she was unable to attend the event in person and was represented by Engr. Evangeline Garcia.
In her speech, delivered by Engr. Garcia, Director Eusala highlighted the essential role of farmers in ensuring the resilience of the local economy and the sustenance of communities. She reiterated that farming is not just a profession but a noble vocation that embodies perseverance, dedication, and hard work.
Her speech also emphasized the commitment of the Philippine Rubber Research Institute to support the agricultural sector, particularly in the rubber industry, through production support, research, and development. She concluded by expressing her gratitude and congratulations to the farmers of Makilala, urging the community to uplift and support them in their vital contributions to keeping the agricultural sector alive.
