Meanwhile actively participating in the ANRPC Caucus Meeting in Thailand, Executive Director of PRRI – Cheryl L. Eusala, Ph.D. seized the opportunity for a significant visit to the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT).
Accompanied by Dr. Girlie Saludo, OIC-Chief of the Rubber Technology and Extension Services Division (RTESD), Director Eusala met with officials from the Rubber Authority of Thailand’s (RAOT) Rubber Industry Division. Beyond a simple tour, the visit ignited discussions exploring the exciting possibility of a collaborative partnership. Director Eusala was totally amazed at the impressive array of rubber technologies on display at RAOT and thought of a potential joint venture with them.
This collaborative effort with RAOT holds immense promise for PRRI’s commitment to innovation and growth. By seizing this opportunity, the Philippines can leverage RAOT’s expertise to develop cutting-edge rubber products. By capitalizing on this opportunity, the Philippines has now a newly forged PRRI-RAOT partnership that will bloom and pave the way for further collaborations and advancements in the Philippine rubber industry.
Under the #BagongPilipinas movement of President Marcos, the Philippines sure has a lot on its plate, with exciting possibilities for the rubber industry emerging. This collaborative effort, spearheaded by Director Eusala’s leadership can be a catalyst for growth. We believe this to be an opportune time for the Philippines to position itself in the development of cutting-edge rubber products which will benefit both the rubber industry and the nation’s economy as a whole.
