February 29, 2024 | Zamboanga City – The Philippine Rubber Research Institute (PRRI), represented by a delegation, participated in the Technical Review Workshop for the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Plan and Budget Proposal today at the Palacio Del Sur Hotel.
The workshop, organized by the DA, aimed to gather feedback and ensure the effectiveness and alignment of various regional plans and proposals with the overall national agricultural agenda. PRRI, belonging to Cluster 2, presented its proposed contributions to the DA’s FY 2025 roadmap.
The PRRI delegation, led by Executive Director Dr. Cheryl Eusala (Charming Edcle), composed: Ms. Honey Fe Boje, OIC-GRID, Dr. Jill Villanueva, OIC-CMD, Dr. Girlie Saludo, OIC-RTESD, Mr. Jess Bryan Alvarino, SSRS Ms. Kristine C, Cubero, Budget Officer II and Ms. Melanie Santos, Planning Officer II.
The representatives engaged in productive discussions and shared insights on PRRI’s crucial role in supporting rubber farming communities. Their focus areas likely included research and development initiatives, technology transfer programs, and capacity building activities aimed at boosting the productivity and sustainability of the Philippine rubber industry.
PRRI actively participated in the workshop to review the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) FY 2025 plan and budget proposal. This collaboration ensures alignment between PRRI’s programs and DA’s priorities, guaranteeing that the needs and aspirations of the rubber industry are considered. Kudos to the PRRI Team!
