Mr. Jess Bryan Alvariño represented the Philippine Rubber Research Institute (PRRI) at the Semestral Meeting of Key Players and Stakeholders of the Rubber Industry. The meeting was organized by the Department of Agriculture – Caraga through the High Value Crops Development Program (DA-HVCDP), in Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur on August 20, 2024.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders from various sectors of the rubber industry, including producers, processors, traders, and government representatives to discuss and address pressing issues and challenges facing the industry.
During the activity, the participants worked collaboratively to formulate effective strategies. These strategies aimed to improve the value chain of the rubber industry by enhancing productivity, increasing market access, and promoting sustainable practices. Overall, key stakeholders were strengthened to help make an efficient approach to further the rubber industry development.
