PRRI Director Eusala joined a meeting for DA bureau directors in Feb. 2024. Led by DA Undersecretary Sombilla, the meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration in agriculture. In a significant stride towards innovation and intellectual property protection, 23 representatives from various Region IX IPTBM-implementing consortium members recently conducted a joint study mission under the RAISE Program. Esteemed institutions like JH Cerilles State College, Jose Rizal Memorial State University, Philippine Rubber Research Institute, Western Mindanao State University, and Zamboanga State College of Marine Science and Technology actively participated in this mission. The mission, held from February 4-10, 2024, fostered collaboration and paved the way for innovation in Western Mindanao’s research and development. The insights gained from this mission will play a pivotal role in fostering a sustained focus on innovation and research excellence, contributing to the overall success of the RAISE Program.

A group of 23 representatives from various research institutions in Western Mindanao participated in a joint study mission from February 4-10, 2024, under the RAISE Program. The study mission aimed to enhance intellectual property protection and drive innovation in the region’s research and development. The participants visited and learned from the best practices of other institutions in IP management, technology transfer, and commercialization. The study mission also fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange among the participating institutions, strengthening their commitment to innovation and research excellence. The study mission was a significant step in implementing the IPTBM project and contributing to the vision for Bagong Pilipinas.
