Executive Director Eusala Attends Governor Emmylou “Lala” Toliño-Mendoza’s State of the Provincial Address
Executive Director Eusala recently participated in Governor Emmylou “Lala” Taliño-Mendoza’s State of the Provincial Address. This event served as a crucial platform to strengthen the partnership between our institute and Cotabato Province. Governor Lala’s unwavering commitment to promoting the rubber industry within Cotabato has been instrumental. Since the establishment of PRRI’s experimental station in Aroman, Cotabato, the governor actively facilitated our endeavors, recognizing the immense potential of rubber production for the province’s economic growth.
The provincial government of Cotabato has also been exceptionally supportive of PRRI’s initiative to establish a nursery at the PRRI Experiment Station. Their assistance included lending us an excavator for nursery operations and providing a budwood garden as a source of budsticks.
This collaboration underscores that joint efforts can yield significant advancements in agricultural research and development. As we move forward, the bureau remains optimistic that our partnership with Cotabato Province will not only benefit local rubber farmers but also extend its positive impact to neighboring provinces and regions.
