PRRI Executive Director Cheryl L. Eusala recently paid a courtesy visit to Atty. Rhaegee Tamaña, Chief of Staff of Sen. Cynthia Villar to lobby for additional funding for the rubber industry. The meeting aimed to secure an increased budget allocation for rubber farmers for Fiscal Year 2025.

During the discussion, the importance of adequate funding for rubber farmers was given importance, highlighting how financial resources can lead to improved agricultural practices. As the budget season approaches, the efforts to secure increased funding reflect a strong commitment to improving the livelihoods of rubber producers nationwide.
